Ken Honda became financially independent at 29. But instead of simply chasing more, he became fascinated by why some people have money and still feel anxious, while others experience it with gratitude, trust and ease.
He went on to study more than 12,000 self-made millionaires, looking beyond how they created wealth to understand how they actually experienced it.
For 15 years, his thinking was shaped by Wahei Takeda, the legendary Japanese investor known as the “Warren Buffett of Japan.” Takeda helped Ken see that understanding money requires more than knowing what to do with it. It also requires understanding how you feel about it.

Happy Money Summit comes to the State Library of New South Wales in its 200th year for an intimate experience unlike a typical large-scale seminar.
Since 1826, this has been a place where people have come to discover ideas, challenge the way they see the world, and carry new knowledge forward.
On 29 January, a new conversation comes into that story.
For one day, just 300 people will gather in the Library's auditorium with Ken Honda and a handpicked group of speakers to explore an idea that has already travelled around the world: What if a richer life begins with a different relationship with money?
In a heritage building that has been preserving and sharing ideas for two centuries.

Yes. Ken Honda will be appearing live and in person at
Happy Money Summit in Sydney on 29 January 2027.
What time does the event start and finish?
Doors open at 8:30 AM. The main Happy Money Summit experience
runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Gold and VIP guests will also
have access to the Ken Honda Masterclass from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
What is included with each ticket?
Silver, Gold and VIP each offer a different level of access.
Silver includes the main event experience, Gold adds lunch,
the Ken Honda Masterclass and additional inclusions, while VIP
includes the closest access to Ken, premium seating and the
VIP arrival experience. Please refer to the ticket section
above for the full inclusions.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is included with Gold and VIP tickets.
Silver ticket holders can purchase their own lunch.
Will there be a replay?
Yes. All ticket holders receive limited-time replay access
to the main-stage sessions. Gold and VIP guests also receive
